Extrusion Billet
Casting Alloys
Billet serves as the raw material and starting stock for the aluminum extrusion operation. The resulting aluminum profiles have numerous industrial uses including aerospace, automotive and building construction. Treizal produces billets with wide-ranging specifications, particularly 6XXX (6061, 6005, 6005A, 6060, 6063) and 7XXX alloys. Lengths range from 18” to upwards of 200” with diameters of 7”, 8”, 9”, 10”, 12”, and 14”.
From wheels, engine blocks, to the tiniest car parts in the automotive sector, to cookware and small appliances in the home, casting is a versatile method of transforming aluminum into a multitude of products. Treizal provides casting alloys in the form of ingots, low profile sows, and 4-way sows in some of the most common alloys of A356, A360, ADC10, ADC12, A383, B380 and B390. Other alloy specifications can be produced to match client requirements.
